The Museum named after K. Tsiolkovsky Invites to Visit the Exhibition dedicated to Two Great Scientists

In the House-museum of A. Chizhevsky (the department of the State Museum of Cosmonautics History named after K. Tsiolkovsky) in Kaluga, the exhibition operates that is dedicated to three events simultaneously: the 100-th anniversary of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky acquaintance with Alexander Chizhevsky; the 90-th anniversary of Tsiolkovsky work "Rocket into outer space" publication and the 90-th anniversary of A. Chizhevsky work "The physical factors of the historical process" publication.

The exhibition exhibits tell the story of relations between two great Russian scientists, who over 20 years were tied by bonds of friendship, mutual and fruitful cooperation, "soul kinship and aspirations".

The exhibition features photographs, documentary materials, materials of long-term correspondence between the scientists, the advance copy with K. Tsiolkovsky autograph: "Received on December 16, 1923, Sunday, from A.L. Chizhevsky" and copies of the book "Rocket into outer space” with gift inscriptions by Tsiolkovsky, works of art from the collections of State Museum of Cosmonautics History named after Tsiolkovsky, the Archive of Russian Academy of Sciences, private archives and collections.

The exhibition will run until September 5.
